ALLENS PARK - VIEW RIDE SCHEDULE

Plan Your Ride

Allenspark is a natural choice for a variety of horseback riding experiences through Rocky Mountain Ntional Park and Roosevelt National Forest. Choose from 1 to 4 hour rides or full day excursions. We are a small stable so you have quiet rides with no crowds. Here's what we offer:

Guided Trail Rides: 1-hour, $35; 2-hour, $50 and 3-hour, $65. Rides available 7 days a week in Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest.

Half-day and Full-day Trail Rides:

$75 and $120 per person. Enjoy an exhilarating ride to Longs Peak, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls, Finch Lake, Pear Lake and other areas in the National Park. Or venture into the Roosevelt National Forest for rides through meadows teeming with colorful wildflowers, cross sparkling streams brimming with water the color or iced tea. Ride along a scenic mountain lake fringed with rustling aspens. Enjoy the crisp cool air and the incredible scenic views. This is the ideal way to explore the Colorado Rockies and you'll never have a crowd in Allenspark.

Drop Camps: Let us pack you into the high country, setup your camp and pick you up the next day. We leave at 7:00 a.m. and return for you at 3:00 p.m. the next day. Our guide, along with a pack horse carrying your camping equipment, will lead you to your high country destination. Pear Lake, for example, is about 4 miles by horseback. You'll leave in the morning for the trail that winds up the mountain, crossing a gentle stream, with a stop along the way at Finch Lake. Then you'll continue on to Pear Lake where you can pitch your tent and spend a night of solitude in this remote area. Your guide will return the next day with your horses for your ride back down the mountain.

Unguided Fishing Trips: Travel by horseback to pristine lakes where the fishing is truly amazing. Fishing enthusiasts will delight in the quest for trout in this spectacular mountain country. If you are lucky, you may experience the "Rocky Mountain Grand Slam," achieved when you are successful in catching rainbow, brown, brook and cutthroat trout in one day.

Guided Fishing Trips: We also provide guided fishing trips to the alpine lakes in Rocky Mountain National Park. Allenspark Livery has partnered with some of the finest fishing outfitters in Estes Park. We provide the horses and they provide the equipment and expertise to make your fishing trip a success. Please call for a price quote.

Please observe state regulations. You can pick up a current copy of the fishing regulations provided by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
