Moraine Park is Conveniently located only 6.9 miles from Estes Park and 4.2 miles inside the Rocky Mountain National Park. The park was declared America's 10th national park in 1915 and offers an extensive trail system with over 260 miles open to riders.

We offer a variety of rides including 2,3,4,6, and 8 hour rides.

Our Family Friendly environment is the perfect way to show people of all ages the beauty of the Rockies and the all wildlife that call this place Home.

Our staff will strive to accommodate your every need, and make your horseback riding experience as pleasant and fun as possible.

2 Hour Ride: This ride to Beaver Meadow is perfect for the entire family! (Ages 2 and up) The meadow is one of the best places to see herds of Elk! It is comfortable for beginners but still full of amazing views and Wildlife.

3 Hour Ride: The three hour ride has two options. The Moraine Meadows option is the best for beautiful Vistas and Wildlife. It leads over the foothills of the Rockies, through Beaver Meadows and follows the Big Thompson River through Moraine Park. This is a good trail for inexperienced riders and kids under the age of thirteen.

3 Hour Ride: The three hour ride has two options. Cub Lake and Forest Canyon! Due to resent flooding this trail is recommended for adults and experienced riders only. This is a 6 mile ride that goes from Moraine Meadows up, through a variety of Ponderosa Pine, Spruce and Aspen Tree Forests, to Cub Lake! Then Follows The Big Thompson River, through Forest Canyon, to the Amazing Arch Rocks!

4 Hour ride: The Ride To The Top Of Beaver Mountain! On this exciting ride you will climb over 1,000 feet to the top of Beaver Mountain at 9,251 Feet! From the top you can see The Great Divide as Well as Longs Peak and the many Meadows far below. This ride is suitable for ages 6 and up and has the very best views and camera opportunities!

6 hour ride: Rivers! Lakes! And Water Falls! If you are looking for the Ultimate horse riding experience then this is the ride for you! This Ride follows Cub Creek up to Cub Lake. Here it joins with The Big Thompson River, where you will ride along the rapids and several Water Falls. At 9,520 feet you will take a 25 min break at Fern Lake for lunch before heading through Forest Canyon and the Amazing Arch Rocks on your way back.

8 hour ride: This All Day Ride Has It All! Starting at 8,100 feet you Climb to 10,020ft Seeing along the way, Moraine Meadow, Cub Creek, Cub Lake, Big Thompson River, Fern Falls, Fern Lake (where you stop 30 min. for lunch), Fern Creek, Tourmaline Gorge, Old Forest Inn, Forest Canyon, and the Arch Rocks! If you are looking for a life changing ride this is the one for you! Due to recent flooding please call to reserve an 8 hour, as the trail may not be open.

A National Park Concession:

In 1959 National Park Service officials recognized the need for a stable concession in the Park. To secure the highest type operation available, prospective concessionaires were interviewed on a national level, chosen carefully and remain under the supervision of the National Park officials.
