The Our Grand Lake Stables are located on the western edge of Grand Lake Village, gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. This location offers one very special trail called "THE RIDE," it rides into flower-laden meadows, along mountain streams, provides a dramatic climb high into the skies. It gives you the opportunity to see some of the Rocky Mountain's most beautiful country, and view its raw, unchanged splendor just as it was when the first settlers came to Grand Lake. The first RIDE one of the day has a cowboy breakfast of scrambled eggs, juice, pancakes, sausage and cowboy coffee. The last RIDE of the day has steak, beans, potatoes, garlic bread, lemonade and cowboy coffee.

	The Ride: Two hours of fun depart at 7am, 10am, 11am, 1:30pm, 4pm and follow the Tonahutu Creek trail. Meals included on the 7AM and 4PM rides.
	Half and Full-Day Rides: 4 hour rides and 8 hour rides leaving everyday at 8AM
	Drop Camps: Drop Camps We will drop you and your stuff off and then come back and get you.

Grand Lake manager,Josh Matheny (pictured at right with wife, Elise and Elvis the horse.), invites you to take advantage of the excellent riding opportunities at Grand Lake. A native of Divide, Colorado, Josh has been with Sombrero for over 7 years. Josh will see to it that your riding experience is a pleasant one at Grand Lake whether you're on one of our daily scheduled trail trides, Breakfast or Steak Fry Ride, or a special trip offered at Grand Lake.

Please phone for reservations on all food rides. Any of these rides can be taken any day by special arrangement as well.
