Sombrero White River Horse Camp: Meeker, Colorado
Meeker Horse Camp, located on northwestern Colorado's scenic White River, is beautifully unspoiled and lightly traveled. With hundreds of miles of scenic trails in the White River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness Area of Colorado, you can spend a day or a week horseback riding in the mountains. You'll experience all of the beauty of the Colorado Rockies– without the crowds! Choose from a variety of riding opportunities in Meeker.

Explore the forests and wilderness areas with trails to exotic-sounding destinations like Mirror Lake, Chinese Wall, Shamrock Lake, Bailey Lake and others. Ride to an elevation in some areas of close to 10,000 feet, crossing sparkling-clean mountain streams, fern filled forests and wide open meadows sprinkled with a variety of colorful wildflowers. Enjoy a short ride of 1 or 2 hours, or plant yourself in the saddle for a full day excursion. The Meeker area is a paradise for hunting, camping and fishing enthusiasts.
