SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH

Plan Your Ride

Sombrero at Snow Mountain Ranch - YMCA of the ROCKIES
The YMCA Mountain Ranch is located in the beautiful Fraser valley between Winter Park and Granby Colorado. It's just a 1 hour drive from Denver. Come ride with us on the YMCA’s 5,200-acre ranch surrounded by snow-capped mountains. We are open year round and have lots of choices for fun activities in all seasons. Let our wranglers guide you across trails that take you by beaver ponds, mountain streams and through lush forests of pine trees and mountain flowers. Let us point out the local wild life. Elk, deer and moose and the ever-allusive coyote roam the property freely and make frequent appearances.
Ranch manager, Brian Buchanan (pictured at left with wife, Deann), invites you to take advantage of the excellent riding opportunities at Snow Mountain. A native of Boulder, Colorado, Brian has been with Sombrero since 1989
