GRAND LAKEVIEW RIDE SCHEDULE

Ride on the forested trails overlooking beautiful Grand Lake, along mountain streams and through open meadows. Wilderness areas and trails into the Rocky Mountain National Park begin right at our stables. Enjoy the peace and serenity of quiet lakes and crystal clear streams flowing through forests of fir and ponderosa.

The Ride (120 minutes), $50:

Kids ten and under, $35. Leaves every hour, 8am to 4pm on the Tonahutu Creek Trail

4-Hour Ride, $75:

8am to Cascade Falls or Big Meadows

All Day Ride, $120:

All day rides leave at 8am bound for Granite Falls, Lake Verna, or Lake Nokoni

Breakfast Ride, $55:

Make it a Grand Lake good morning with our 8am breakfast ride. Work up healthy appetite on the ride and then enjoy all you can eat. Chow down on a stack of pancakes, sizzling sausage, fresh scrambled eggs and a cup of good hot coffee.

The Ride with Steak $50:

A Grand Lake tradition, join us as we ride along a mountain trail, through thick forests and open meadows. Make sure you are good and hungry for this western adventure. You'll ride along the trail with breathtaking views of the mountain wilderness. We'll cook a mouthwatering steak and all the fixings while you relax. Enjoy a cup of coffee while your juicy steak is cooked to your order. Everything is cooked exactly the way cowboys on roundup do it. Help yourself to dutch oven cooked potatoes, flavorful baked beans, hot-off-the-grill steak, melt-in-your-mouth warm, crusty bread and refreshing cold lemonade or a hot cup of coffee.

Pack trips: Pack your equipment on a pack horse, take a saddle horse for yourself, and enjoy a trip into the spectacular mountains of the Western slope of the Rockies. Our horses are very gentle and well-trained mountain horses that you will enjoy riding. A guide will accompany you, leading you high into the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park. $200 per horse.

Drop camps: If you wish to stay a day or two in the back country, our guide will pack you in and then return for you with pack horses anytime you wish. Guide will take you in by horseback and leave you to camp on your own, returning with the horses at a specified day/time for your ride back out. $200 per horse.

Please phone for reservations on all food rides.

We are located on the western edge of Grand Lake Village on the Portal Road just off Highway 34 East (see map)
