Grand Lake Stable – Ride Schedule and Prices
Ride on forested trails overlooking beautiful Grand Lake, pass alongside clear mountain streams, and meander through open meadows dotting the hillsides. Trails into the wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park begin right at our stable. Admire the serenity of peaceful lakes and clear streams amongst regal forests of fir and ponderosa.
- The Ride (2 Hours), $55:
Two hours of fun, departing at 7am, 10am, 11am, 1:30pm, and 4pm. Follows the Tonahutu Creek trail.

Pack Trips: Load your equipment on a pack horse, take a saddle horse for yourself, and enjoy a trip into the spectacular backcountry of the Western slope of the Rockies. Our horses are very gentle, well-trained, and experienced in mountain riding. A guide will accompany you, leading you high into the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park. $200 per horse.
Drop Camps: If you wish to stay a day or two in the backcountry, our guide will pack you in and then return for you with pack horses anytime you wish. Your guide will take you in by horseback and leave you to camp on your own, returning with the horses at a specified day/time for your ride back out. $200 per horse.
