I wanted to say thank you to Brian and Blueberry for providing such a magical night this past Christmas. We took the dinner sleigh ride and it was more majestic than anyone could ask for. Chad and Dick were our team of horses and did a wonderful job in the cold weather. Great pairing with those two pulling beside each other. The sleigh ride was wonderful all decked out in Christmas lights and wreaths. Brian was so informative and a great cowboy to listen to his tales and his information that he provided about the stables and the horses and, of course, his faithful companion, Blueberry. Blue, herself, was a treat and ironically, my husband & I have been thinking about getting a Blue Heeler puppy. She sealed the deal and that will be our late Christmas present to ourselves. Brian is a true treasure to listen to with his knowledge of the horses, the stables and the area. Couldn't ask for a better sleigh driver. The food was wonderful and the staff was all great. The steaks were great and we loved the endless supply of hot chocolate on a cold winter's night. Thank you all so much again for making our Christmas night wonderful. Feel free to use this comment on your website!!! We'll be back!!!
I just wanted to thank you for taking us on a trail ride on 7/10/11. It was AMAZING! I went with 5 of our kids (my husband stayed back with our 11 month old) ages 14, 13, 10, 9, and 6 yrs old. My 10 yr old was thrilled because she had been excluded from several of our vacation activities since she had a broken ankle with a cast :-( but she was able to go trail riding with us! Our guide, Chris, was wonderful and told us things about Colorado that were quite interesting. I thought with him being from Texas, he was very knowledgable and made sure the kids were well taken care of. Coy, my 6 yr old was excited when he got a horse named "Dr. Pepper" and couldn't take the smile off of his face when Chris told him how fast Dr. Pepper could go. Thanks so much for the wonderful memories this gave our family! It was truly a ride to remember! (It also helped my 13 and 14 yr olds that Chris was "easy on the eyes" in their words! hehehe) My only regret is that we couldn't go for a longer ride and every day! Thanks again, we would definitely recommend to anyone!
My family and our friend Rachel, LOVED the breakfast ride!! Zach was our guide and he was awesome!! Very professional, kind, patient, could sing and whistle, and a great young man!! We wanted to bring him home with us to St. Louis!! Thanks for the family memories and we hope to be back next summer.
Now, it is back to the 102 degree's, humid, no mountains, hectic St. Louis, but it's home! God's Blessings on you and your staff!
Just a quick note to let you know of our great experience with Sombrero in Allenspark in June of 2011. My family (including a 7 and a 10 year old and my in-laws who had never been on a horse) took a two hour trail ride with Chance as our guide. He did a great job making our kids feel comfortable about being in charge of their horses. By the end of our ride, I saw my kids and my mother-in-law (who said she was shaking before we left at the thought of riding a horse), controlling their horses well and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Chance was an excellent guide and helped all of us enjoy our time. I would recommend Allenspark stables for a beautiful ride through the hills and forests of Colorado. What a view too! Thanks for making this a wonderful memory!
My Parents and I were guests at your Estes Park location today (6-23-11) and we had a wonderful time!!! "Storm Trooper" Kelly was our guide on our 2 hour steak dinner ride and she did an excellent job. She was warm and friendly, extremely personable, yet entirely professional. Itâ?Ts such a great bonus to have an employee such as her that truly loves what they do and is so eager to share that passion with your guests. And the steak dinner was really good too. Thank you for wonderful experience!
