How old do you have to be to ride?
Children 6 and up are allowed to ride. At this time, we do not have any activities for kiddos under 6 years old.
Any weight restrictions?
There is no strict weight limit. If you are over 275lbs, we ask that you restrict yourself to a 30 minute or 1 hour ride. If you are over 300lbs, we ask that you restirct yourself to a 30 minute ride.
Any trotting or loping?
All of our rides are walking only. The splendor of the trails is soaking up the beauty which is best done at the walk
Are helmets provided?
Helmets are provided, and recommended for all riders, of all ages.
Are you open Year Round?
We are seasonal in 2021. We will be closing Oct 20th, 2021 and reopening in May of 2022.
All rides are refundable up to 24 hours prior to your ride time. After that, refunds will only be considered for severe weather conditions or other emergencies. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further inquiries.
Do you allow double riding for small children?
We do not permit double riding of any sort. All young riders must meet our age requirement and ride their own horse.

Sombrero Stables is located in Estes Park, Colorado. An easy, scenic drive from FT. Collins, Boulder, and Denver. A map/directions are listed on our website menu

All of our ride times and availability can be seen on our website by clicking "Check Availability" or going to our Location page..
How far in advance should I book?
We take reservations up to 2 hours prior to the ride departing. However, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead of time to help secure your preferred ride.
Do you take walk-ins?
We love taking walk-ins! However, walk-ins are subject to the day's avaialbility or 30 minute rides.

How early should I arrive before my Ride
At least 30 mins prior. Please plan your travel accordingly and know that mountain driving often takes longer than planned.
