If you have light-colored athletic clothing that is designed to wick moisture away from the body, that can do an even better job at keeping you cool.
Consider athletic pants instead of jeans. Jeans are the classic choice for Western-style horseback riders, but when things heat up, choosing tights or pants that are made of workout material can be a better option.
